Wystawa "Serce tamtego miasta"

Sercem Żydowskiego Instytutu Historycznego jest Archiwum Ringelbluma. Spuścizna grupy Oneg Szabat stanowi cel i sens naszych działań – naukowych, konserwatorskich i digitalizacyjnych. Nie zapominamy, że celem współpracowników Emanuela Ringelbluma było udokumentowanie tragedii Zagłady oraz zachowania pamięci o polskich Żydach.

ŻIH to nie tylko Archiwum. Zachowane w kolekcji Instytutu dzieła sztuki, relacje, pamiątki historyczne, fotografie czy wyroby rzemiosła artystycznego stanowią świadectwo życia żydowskiego na ziemiach polskich. A ulica Tłomackie, przy której znajduje się gmach Instytutu, była w samym sercu żydowskiej Warszawy. O tym właśnie chcemy opowiedzieć na naszej nowej Serce tamtego miasta. To będzie wystawa szczególna, ponieważ tym razem nie zapraszamy do naszej siedziby – a na refleksyjny spacer po Muranowie. Na plakatach rozmieszczonych w piętnastu lokalizacjach znajdą się zdjęcia obiektów z kolekcji ŻIH. Kody QR umieszczone na plakatach będą prowadzić do cyfrowej części tej wystawy, gdzie wysokiej jakości fotografiom będą towarzyszyły teksty – impresje zaproszonych przez nas Autorek i Autorów.
