Title: Life of Children in the Warsaw Ghetto on the Basis of Drawings by Rozenfeld
Type: Lesson
Author: Olga Szymańska
Description: Never truly a household name, Rozenfeld was a graphic artist seeking to document the difficult life of children in the ghetto. Children were much more vulnerable to diseases and hunger, and were often left without caretakers. Some would venture outside the ghetto walls to save their families from dying of starvation.
This lesson includes descriptions of the tragic life of children in the ghetto illustrated by drawings by Rozenfeld, as well as information on ghetto hospitals and means of obtaining food.
